Covalent organic frameworks (COFs) are crystalline and porous materials with broad chemical and structural diversity, which are synthesized from molecular building blocks in a bottom-up manner through polycondensation reactions to form layered or spatially complex structures. Among them, in the COF synthesis, the boronic acid-containing structural unit was the first monomer to be used for the synthesis of COF. Boronic acid functionalized covalent organic frameworks (B-COFs) materials show good enrichment ability. Compared with traditional organic small molecule substrates, B-COFs have low background interference, high sensitivity, good selectivity, and high salt tolerance. 4d-Boric COFs linkers participate in the synthesis of COFs with more complex spatial structures and diverse properties through the structure of their multiple binding sites.
