Adenovirus

Adenovirus transfection is a process that uses adenovirus as a transfection agent to introduce foreign genes or expression vectors into target cells. This is a commonly used method in molecular biology and gene therapy research. Adenoviruses have a strong ability to deliver genetic material to host cells and are therefore widely used in gene transfection research and biomedical applications. One of the advantages of adenoviral transfection is its high efficiency and broad host cell range. However, there are also difficulties in transfecting certain cell types that are difficult to transfect. To this end, CD Bioparticles offers a magnetic nanoparticle formulation specifically designed to enhance the infection and transduction capabilities of adenovirus and adeno-associated virus (AAV). It concentrates a complete dose of viral particles onto cells within minutes, significantly increasing viral infectivity at very low vector doses.
