Biotinylated Liposomes

Biotinylated-Liposomes are liposomes containing biotin group. Due to the low molecular weight of biotin, the biotinylation reaction is fast, efficient and not easily disturbed, and it can form a stable non-covalent bond with avidin, so it is applied to the modification of drug carriers. Liposomes modified with biotin can be coupled to other biotinylated proteins by directly interacting with avidin-conjugated proteins/antibodies or using avidin as a bridging molecule. Therefore, biotinylated-liposomes can very convenient in which biotinylated proteins/antibodies are introduced into biotinylated streptavidin (avidin)-labeled liposomes. To this end, CD Bioparticles has developed biotinylated liposomes for use in various preclinical drug development studies.

CD Bioparticles manufactures and supplies biotinylated liposomes for the research of drug delivery. Contact us to find out how the biotinylated liposomes can help your work.
