Lipo-nucleotides

Lipo-nucleotides are a type of modified nucleotides that contain a lipophilic group attached to the nucleotide backbone.  This modification enhances the hydrophobicity of the molecule and promotes its affinity for lipid membranes.  Lipo-nucleotides have been shown to have important biological functions, such as playing a role in the delivery and uptake of nucleic acids into cells, and also as signaling molecules in various biological processes.  The modification of nucleotides can be used in gene therapy and drug delivery in order to optimize the efficiency of targeting cells and tissues.

CD Bioparticles' services with customized delivery strategies, precise designs and modifications of drugs or drug-contained cargos, and advanced technical platforms can help you to solve:

The challenges you might meet:

  • The expression efficiency of exogenous genes is low
  • Genes that need to be expressed cannot be accurately delivered to the target site
  • The cell internalization rate of oligonucleotide chains is low
  • The products of gene expression are unstable
  • The lipid metabolism pathway of various regulatory factors is not clear
  • Tedious liposome formulation, purifications, and production

Key benefits:

  • Surface active liposomes allowing the modification of the drug-loaded liposomes to achieve cell-targeting or tissue-targeting
  • Low immune rejection
  • Low toxicity, safe operation
  • Simple operation, selective, low cost
  • Suitable for in vitro and in vivo experiments
  • Ready-to-use

Application candidates:

  • To treat acute and chronic inflammation
  • Treatment for acute respiratory distress syndrome
  • Study on gene therapy
  • As signaling molecules in various biological processes
