DDAB (Dimethyl Dioctadecyl Ammonium Bromide) liposome is a cationic liposome for DNA/RNA delivery. The liposomes have a spherical lipid bilayer structure that encapsulates and protects nucleic acids, such as DNA and RNA, from degradation and improves their delivery to cells. DDAB liposomes are composed of positively charged lipids that can interact with negatively charged nucleic acids to facilitate their encapsulation within liposomes.
