Dodecanyl Liposome is a liposome with a carboxyl group. It can be activated by EDC (1-ethyl-3-[3-dimethylaminopropyl]carbodiimide) and combined with sulfo-NHS (N-hydroxysulfosuccinimide) to generate more stable and soluble species-reactive intermediates. This intermediate can be covalently attached to an amine group on a protein, peptide, or antibody by substituting an amine for the sulfo-NHS group. To this end, CD Bioparticles has developed dodecanyl liposomes for binding peptides, antibodies and other NHS containing biomolecules.
CD Bioparticles manufactures and supplies dodecanyl liposomes for drug delivery research. Contact us to find out how dodecanyl liposomes can help your work.
