The central ring of the porphyrin compound is a macrocyclic conjugated structure with 18 π electrons, and the electrons in the ring have good mobility. Porphyrin compounds further modified outside the ring show very good oxidation, reduction, electron transfer, oxygen transfer, charge separation, energy transfer and other special functions, which determines that porphyrin compounds with different structures can be widely used in many fields. Among porphyrins, A4-type porphyrins are obtained by modifying the middle positions (5, 10, 15 and 20) of the porphyrin ring with the same group. All modified groups in A4 porphyrins are identical, resulting in a high degree of symmetry and simplified NMR spectra. The use of A4 porphyrins as synthetic organic ligand linkers for MOFs can yield highly loaded MOFs delivery vehicles with A4 porphyrin properties.
CD Bioparticles manufactures and supplies A4-porphyrins for MOFs synthesis. Contact us to find out how A4-porphyrin can help your work.
