Methoxy-poly(ethylene glycol)-Block-Poly(D-lysine hydrochloride)
Specifications
Common Use
|
Methoxy-poly(ethylene glycol)-block-poly(D-lysine hydrochloride) is a linear amphiphilic block copolymer which has a poly(D-lysine hydrochloride) section and a non-reactive PEG5K section. It is a crystalline solid soluble in water. Upon derivatization of the poly(D-lysine hydrochloride) part, it can self-assemble into particles in aqueous solution with a hydrophobic poly(D-lysine) core and a hydrophilic PEG shell. Applications for methoxy-poly(ethylene glycol)5K-block-poly(D-lysine hydrochloride) include the conjugation to active molecules for improved activities, the layer-by-layer deposition techniques, and the complexation with nucleic acids for gene expression. Our methoxy-poly(ethylene glycol)5K-block-poly(D-lysine hydrochloride) has been purified by dialysis, sterile-filtered on 0.2um, lyophilized, and stored under Ar. |
