Common Use | Poly-L-arginine hydrochloride is a positively charged synthetic polyamino acid having one HCl per arginine unit. It is a crystalline solid soluble in water. Applications for poly-L-arginine hydrochloride include the layer-by-layer deposition techniques and the complexation with nucleic acids for gene expression. This particular poly-L-arginine hydrochloride has a trityl protected thiol on the C-terminal. The trityl group is easily cleavable using a TFA/Et3SiH (98:2 v/v) mixture. Our poly-L-arginine hydrochloride has been purified by dialysis, sterile-filtered on 0.2um, lyophilized, and stored under Ar. |
