Common Use | Azide-polysarcosine (N3-polysarcosine, N3-pSar) is a polypeptoid based on the endogenous amino acid sarcosine (N-methylated glycine), which has previously shown potent stealth properties. As a polymer, pSar combines PEG-like properties, e.g., excellent solubility in water, protein resistance, low cellular toxicity and a non-immunogenic character, while being based on endogenous material. Recently it was gained broader attention and is considered a potential alternative of poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG). Azide-functionalized polysarcosine can react via a click chemistry reaction with alkyne or acetylene. Our company offers pSar with high purity and narrow polydispersity. |
