Common Use	Biotin-PEG-Maleimide (BIO-PEG-MAL) is a linear heterobifunctional PEGylation reagent with a biotin and a maleimide. It is a useful crosslinking, bioconjugation reagent with a PEG spacer. Biotin can bind to avidin and streptavidin with high specificity and affinity. Maleimide can conjugate with thiol, SH, sulfhydryl or mercapto group to form a disulfide bond.
