Description
|
RGD sequences are motifs on extracellular matrix proteins promoting adhesion to cellular integrin receptors. The RGD Peptide contains an RGD motif and a thiol on a N-terminal cysteine residue. The thiol is used to immobilize the peptide on maleimide polymers in 3D Cell Culture Hydrogels. The immobilized peptide can promote specific adhesion of cells carrying the integrin receptor. Peptide sequence: Acetyl-Cys-Doa1-Doa-Gly-Arg-Gly-Asp-Ser-Pro-NH2. Intended for research use only. Not for use in human therapeutic or diagnostic applications. Doa: 8-amino-3,6-dioxaoctanoic acid |
