5,5',5''-(benzene-1,3,5-triyltris(oxy))triisophthalic acid, also known as BTITA, is a tricarboxylic acid with three isophthalic acid units linked by benzene-1,3,5-triyltris(oxy) linkers. BTITA is a white solid that is insoluble in water, but soluble in organic solvents. It is used as a building block for the synthesis of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) and porous organic frameworks (POFs) due to its rigid and highly symmetrical structure.
