Production-Specific Membrane Antigen (PSMA) Aptamer Synthesis and Modification Service

Production-Specific Membrane Antigen (PSMA) Aptamer Synthesis and Modification Service

Aptamers are designed to specifically recognize molecules in various types of tumor populations, leading to effective pharmacological treatments. The generation of aptamers that bind to protein receptors that target the surface of tumor cells is an area of increasing interest in current oncology therapies.

CD Bioparticles offers anti-PSMA aptamer synthesis and modification services. Our many years of experience in custom aptamer design and modification will ensure that you can obtain aptamer customization for high-affinity target proteins suitable for your application. Aptamers are synthesized and modified to improve the pharmacological properties (route of administration, solubility) and to reduce the toxicity and side effects of the drug.

Introduction to PSMA Aptamers

PSMA is a type II membrane-associated metalloproteinase that is overexpressed on the surface of Prostate cancer (PCa) cells and serves as an important prostate cancer marker and an attractive target for anti-cancer therapy. PSMA is also expressed in the vascular system of many other solid tumors.

Aptamers can also be used to selectively deliver drugs to PCa cells and enhance their action at lower concentrations. the use of PSMA aptamers is very effective for this application as many PCa cells and tissues are high in the expression of this protein. A number of studies have shown that the PSMA aptamer can be utilized in a number of ways to deliver drugs into cells.

The current use of aptamers in PCa research could improve diagnostic tools and the efficacy of anti-tumor drugs. Aptamers are also used to identify cellular markers with high specificity, sensitivity, and efficacy in the diagnosis and treatment of PCa.

Our Anti-PSMA Aptamer Services

CD Bioparticles specializes in the synthesis and modification of anti-PSMA aptamers and uses our core technology to customize aptamers for targeted drug delivery. With our high-quality services, you can significantly improve the progress of your experimental studies.

Our team offers services from the construction of aptamers to the modification of aptamers for targeted drug delivery system studies. We have chosen PSMA as the target for aptamer selection because previous studies have demonstrated the feasibility of detecting human metastatic PCa tumors by imaging with anti-PSMA antibodies. We can also customize our service to suit your needs with other types of aptamers.

Our service process focuses on but is not limited to, the following:

  • Screening for aptamers that can target PSMA proteins

  • Synthesis and purification of anti-PSMA aptamers

  • Specificity and affinity analysis

Deliverable Results

  • Custom-designed PSMA aptamer sequences: The service can provide custom-designed PSMA aptamer sequences that are optimized for specific applications and desired binding properties.
  • Aptamer synthesis and purification: The service can synthesize PSMA aptamers using chemical synthesis techniques and purify them to remove impurities that may affect binding properties.
  • Aptamer labeling: This service allows PSMA aptamers to be labeled with fluorescent dyes or reporter molecules for the detection and visualization of PSMA-aptamer complexes.
  • Aptamer modification: This service can modify PSMA aptamers to enhance their binding affinity, specificity, and stability. For example, aptamers can be modified with polyethylene glocalization or other chemical fractions.
  • Aptamer characterization: This service allows the characterization of PSMA aptamers using techniques such as surface plasmon resonance (SPR), fluorescence anisotropy, and circular dichroism (CD) spectroscopy to assess their binding properties, specificity, and stability.
  • Aptamer applications: This service can assist in the application of PSMA aptamers to various assays or diagnostic tests such as ELISA, Western blotting, or flow cytometry.
