Celluloses

Nanocellulose is a general term for nanostructured cellulose-based materials, which can be divided into cellulose nanocrystals (CNC), cellulose nanofibrils (CNF), and bacterial cellulose (BC). Among them, the main raw material sources of CNC and CNF are wood, cotton, hemp, flax, corn leaf, wheat straw, sugar beet, potato tuber and algae, etc., while BC is usually synthesized by bacteria (such as Acetobacter xylinum). Nanocellulose has the advantages of high specific surface area, high reactivity, small size effect, and quantum tunneling effect of nanomaterials. Therefore, nanocellulose is a promising drug carrier material for biomedical applications. CD Bioparticles offers nanocellulose polymers of varying molecular weights for drug discovery research. In addition, we offer nanocellulose modified with acrylate, biotin and stearate groups.
