What are the Labeling/Coupling Kit?

Labeling and Coupling Kits are standardized reagent systems for the covalent coupling and functionalization of biomolecules. They aim to stably link antibodies, proteins, or other biomolecules with targeted biorecognition or therapeutic activity to the surface of phospholipid molecules or nanomaterials. In drug delivery research, these kits are primarily used to construct "functionalized lipid units," such as phospholipid-antibody or phospholipid-protein conjugates. These functionalized molecules can naturally integrate into lipid bilayer structures, such as liposomes, lipid nanoparticles (LNPs), or exosomes, achieving precise targeted delivery without affecting the integrity of the carrier structure or the stability of drug encapsulation. In this way, nanodelivery systems can acquire specific recognition capabilities, enhance receptor-mediated cellular uptake efficiency, and thus significantly improve drug delivery efficacy.
