Exosome Capture and Quantification

Exosome isolation and purification are the first steps in exosome research. After isolation, exosome identification is essential, but quantification of exosomes is also a crucial step before downstream experiments. Currently, nanoparticle tracking analysis (NTA) is widely used for exosome quantification. However, NTA cannot distinguish exosomes from other microvesicles or particles. CD Bioparticles offers exosome kits that utilize a double-antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) technique. This method can simply and rapidly capture and separate specific total exosomes or exosome subpopulations. Moreover, with the use of exosome standards, the concentration of exosomes in samples can be accurately determined.
