Fluorescent AB Diblock Copolymers

AB Diblock Copolymers are a special kind of polymer prepared by linking together two polymer segments with different properties. Its specific structure of block polymers will show different properties from simple linear polymers, as well as mixtures of many random copolymers and even homopolymers. Because of its unique properties, it is widely used in the field of biomedicine. For example, AB diblock copolymers have been extensively studied as nanocarriers for anticancer drug delivery applications, on the one hand, due to their inherent ability to self-assemble into well-defined nanostructures in aqueous media, and on the other hand, due to enhanced water solubility and hydrophobicity of drug, the bioavailability of the drug and the therapeutic effect. Furthermore, fluorophore-containing fluorescent polymer nanocarriers are favored in bioimaging and drug delivery due to their visual properties. Fluorescently labeled AB diblock copolymers as drug delivery vehicles are very beneficial for follow-up tracking and observational studies.

CD Bioparticles manufactures and supplies FITC, flamma-fluor FKR, and Rhodamine B labeled AB diblock copolymers. Contact us to find out how fluorescent AB diblock copolymers can help you in your work.
