Fluorescent Hyaluronic Acids

Hyaluronic acid is a polysaccharide derived from Streptococcus equi which is composed of alternating β (1-3) glucuronic acid and β (1-4) glucosamine units, which are labeled with fluorophores to obtain fluorescent hyaluronic acids.

Hyaluronic acid conjugated to a fluorescent dye is produced and supplied by CD Bioparticles. The product has high photostability and chemical stability and bright fluorescence. Over the past few years, hyaluronic acid has had many applications in medicine (especially its indispensable contribution to ophthalmic surgery) and cosmetics.  Fluorescent derivatives of hyaluronic acid are mainly used to study the uptake of hyaluronic acid by various tissues and to study the diffuse growth of cancer in the brain and other organs.

CD Bioparticles manufactures and supplies AMCA,Biotin,FITC,NIR,and Rhodamine B labeled hyaluronic acids. Contact us to find out how fluorescent hyaluronic acids can help you in your work.
